About the Role

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team in Woodland Hills, California.

The position is in our Surgery Department, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering quality, compassionate healthcare to animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, and CT scans
  • Set up and monitor anesthesia, and assist with surgical procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments, laboratory processing, and pharmacy duties
  • Provide patient recovery care, including bandage and cast placement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Ability to navigate high-paced workflows with a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Comfortable asking for help and clarification when needed
  • High attention to detail
