About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Riverside Healthcare. As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures utilizing related techniques to produce images and radiographs for interpretation by a Radiologist.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  • Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
  • Adjust daily operation to meet the needs of a changing work environment.
  • Register, schedule, and verify insurance/Medicaid compliance, and provide strong customer service skills.
  • Collect, analyze, and record demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data from multiple sources, and obtain other information and signatures necessary for registrations and billing.
  • Screen for compliance with payer requirements for medical necessity and complete third-party eligibility and benefit verification to ensure accurate payment is secured.
  • Operate point-of-care laboratory equipment and knowledge of process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA and accredited program in medical imaging and registry eligible.
  • IEMA required in Radiologic Technology (RT) within 6 months of hire.
  • ARRT (RT) preferred.
