Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed massage therapist to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a massage therapist, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform massage therapy services, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques.
  • Work with clients to assess their needs and recommend the appropriate massage techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Provide education to clients about the benefits of massage therapy and guidance on self-care techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills as a massage therapist.

Requirements:

  • Current Illinois state massage therapy license.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of a variety of massage therapy techniques and their applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform massage therapy treatments for extended periods of time.
