Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure all cargo is properly secured and loaded
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, reporting any issues to the maintenance team
  • Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:

  • CDL-A with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements (Terminal will reimburse for Hazmat)
  • Must be willing to obtain a TWIC card - will reimburse
  • 1 year tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years or 1 year tanker experience in the last 10 years

Benefits:

  • $0.715 per mile for loads over 250 miles
  • 28.50% of the line haul for loads under 250 miles
  • Averaging $1,800 gross per week
  • Regional runs, home most weekends
