About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist/Scientist or Medical Lab Technician to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc.

This is a permanent position responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results. The successful candidate will be authorized to perform waived, moderate and high complexity tests as required by the Director.

The individual will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures and participate fully in quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing specimen collection and testing
  • Reporting test results
  • Participating in quality control procedures
  • Complying with quality assurance and quality management standards

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university OR a bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences
  • At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred
  • ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
