Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the position of Unit Manager in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Complete Resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nurses and staff.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and families.
  • Provide information to Residents and health care team.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
  • Maintain documentation of Resident care services.
  • Maintain nursing supplies inventory.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.
  • Develop an individualized comprehensive care plan.
  • Maintain timely documentation of patients.
  • Maintain supervision of staff and facility.

Requirements:

  • Must hold valid New York State RN License.
  • 3+ LTC Experience required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Hospital experience would be preferred.
  • Must have a willingness to work as a team member.

Salary and Benefits:

$110,000 per year, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
