Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with our business objectives and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and that equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring that we are using our resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, ensuring that we are using the latest technologies and best practices to maintain our equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and equipment operation protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with maintenance management software and other technologies used in the maintenance industry.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and practices, with the ability to apply them to maintenance operations.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management, with the ability to develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities.
