We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to obstetrics patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, technologists, genetic counselors, and clinical nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of fetal anatomy and pathology, as well as obstetric and gynecologic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Formal training in ultrasound.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Two (2) years sonographer experience in high-risk obstetrics, capable of performing scans per American Institute of Ultrasound (AIUM) standards.
- Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) credentialed or Fetal Echo certified.
