TotalMed seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse Specialist to provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in the operating room.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment, maintain a sterile field, and provide instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assess their responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.
- Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions, providing emotional support throughout the process.
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by the facility.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
