We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee and lead maintenance procedures and ensure implementation in the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize Production Operations: Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate requests for repairs and installations for all aspects of maintenance work.
- Capital Improvement Projects: Identify and present projects to support plant infrastructure needs and improvements.
- Budget Management: Set and manage budget for maintenance department and related maintenance activities, reevaluating on an ongoing basis.
- Critical Parts Inventory: Maintain a critical parts inventory system for all machine parts, ordering parts as necessary for inventory and special projects.
- Collaboration with Sub-Contractors: Collaborate with sub-contractors to coordinate installation of new equipment and completion of building projects.
- Capital Project Pipeline: Identify and maintain a pipeline of capital projects and foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, including outside contractors and vendors.
- Capital Request Preparation: Prepare, submit, and update capital requests using capital planning software.
- Downtime Analysis: Analyze downtime trends and maintain machine operating standards.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the technical resource to address and resolve maintenance-related inquiries and problems, including aiding in troubleshooting plant equipment malfunctions.
- High-Level Maintenance Technician Skills
- Knowledge of Food Manufacturing Environments
This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing environment.
Primarily day shift with flexibility to assist as needed.
