Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Load and unload freight, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a valid medical certificate
  • At least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
