Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency Department with a separate pediatric pod and Acute Mental Health area.
- Manage a patient population that is diverse and varied.
- Maintain a Clinician to Patient Ratio of 1:4.
- Handle an average census of 230 visits per day.
- Utilize EPIC ASAP for electronic medical record (EMR) charting.
- Participate in rotational shifts when requested, although the night position does not typically rotate.
- Perform general emergency nursing tasks including but not limited to assessment, documentation, IV administration, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
- Flexibility to float between units as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience
- Active RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred) certifications
