Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology RN at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will utilize your nursing expertise to deliver exceptional patient care as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Your key responsibilities will include evaluating patient health, identifying potential issues, creating personalized care plans, and tracking treatment responses. You will play a vital role in ensuring patients navigate their healthcare safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient and family needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans as needed.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and addressing patient concerns when necessary.
• Foster a culture of learning, supporting the growth and development of nursing staff, and promoting knowledge sharing within the healthcare team and community.
• Partner effectively with team members and the community to implement a cohesive care plan, recognizing limited resources and prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.

Requirements

A basic understanding of patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing is essential. You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to engage with diverse groups effectively. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are also crucial for providing optimal patient care. Additionally, basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email, are required.
