We are seeking a talented Cellarman to join our brewing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for craft beer production. This role involves executing cellar operations with precision while maintaining the highest quality standards. Flexibility and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cellar operations during the second shift, including transferring, clarifying, carbonating, and conditioning beer.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace in the cellar, strictly following cleanliness protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members across various departments to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency in all brewery processes.
- Adhere to recipes and formulas closely to produce beers that align with our high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of brewhouse and cellar activities on a daily basis.
- Operate and care for cellar equipment, with experience in centrifuge operation being advantageous.
- Comply with all applicable regulations governing brewery operations.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a brewhouse or cellar setting.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
- Experience with centrifuge operations is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours in a hot, wet, and noisy environment.
- Capacity to remain focused and composed in challenging situations.
- Able to lift and carry weights up to 55 lbs.
