Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tractor-Truck Driver to join our team at R E Garrison Trucking Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating and driving tractor-trucks to transport goods and commodities from place of origin to assigned destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive tractor-trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
  • Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
  • Maintain clean driving records with no moving violations.
  • Ensure contents are properly secured inside the truck to prevent breakage or damage.
  • Transport goods and commodities safely, efficiently, and timely.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A driver's license required.
  • Twelve (12) months commercial driving experience within the last ten (10) years.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Ability to communicate in English, pursuant to the FMCSA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record with no moving violations.
  • Must pass background check and drug test.
  • Technical capacity; Customer/Client focus; Ethical Conduct; Time Management.
