Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Department Sales Associate to join our team at PriceRite.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and performing various tasks related to meat sales and operations.
- This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions about products, and make recommendations to customers.
- Meat Handling and Preparation: Wrap, package, scale, and price merchandise, as well as maintain proper food safety and handling procedures.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, stock, and rotate merchandise, as well as conduct inventory counts and audits.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work cooperatively with other associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Ability to Lift 35 LBS: Regularly required
- Ability to Stand/Walk for Extended Periods: Frequently required
- Basic Math Skills: Required
- Excellent Communication Skills: Required
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
