The Cook County Health and Hospitals System is seeking a highly skilled Attending Physician to join our team. As a Nocturnist Hospitalist, you will provide direct comprehensive care to inpatients of our hospitals during the night shift.
Responsibilities- Manage patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), including ventilator management and performing bedside procedures.
- Collaborate with Intensivists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Supervise house staff and teach medical students on teaching services.
- Participate in patient experience and quality improvement projects.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed as a physician in the State of Illinois.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Valid Illinois Controlled Substance License.
- One (1) year of experience working as a nocturnist hospitalist.
- One (1) year of experience working as an intensivist.
