Job Summary

Community Council of Idaho is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Observe, record, and report on patient conditions, including adverse reactions to medications or treatments

Take vital signs, prepare and administer injections, and apply dressings and ice packs as needed

Collect samples for testing, perform routine laboratory tests, and ensure immunizations are up-to-date

Administer medications and topical treatments, document medication administration, and record any errors or incidents

Maintain accurate medical records, update patient charts, and ensure confidentiality of client information

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Current CMA certification

Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Ability to travel between clinic sites

Pass a background check and provide evidence of no communicable disease

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in IV and phlebotomy

Bilingualism in English and Spanish

Work Environment

Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
