Position Overview

The Senior Electric Program Manager will serve as a vital member of a cross-functional team, acting as a subject matter expert in compliance and quality within the Transmission Line and Substation (T&S) functional area. This role will facilitate collaboration across T&S sectors, ensuring effective execution, accurate documentation, and comprehensive management of notifications, data analysis, and order closure.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of PG&E's operations, demonstrating comfort in leading cross-functional teams and managing all facets of a program, including target management and timelines. Responsibilities will include maintaining and extracting maintenance and asset data from SAP, providing strategic and analytical oversight, engaging with leadership as necessary, fostering partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with established work planning and execution protocols.

This role may necessitate travel for on-site meetings and audits, and could require occasional irregular hours to meet project deadlines.

Compensation Information

PG&E is providing a salary range that reflects the company's good faith belief regarding compensation for this position at the time of posting. This range is specific to the job's locality. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. While it is anticipated that the successful candidate will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Salary Range:

  • Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area): $122,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (Bay Area): $158,000.00
  • Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area): $194,000.00
  • Minimum Base Salary (California): $116,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (California): $150,000.00
  • Maximum Base Salary (California): $184,000.00

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee targets, timelines, resources, strategic alignment, and communications related to the M&C Portfolio.


• Cultivate partnerships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance.


• Spearhead the development of multi-year compliance plans to ensure PG&E meets or exceeds regulatory commitments.


• Drive innovative solutions for program risks and issues that arise.


• Ensure proper governance of M&C documentation, actively managing and ensuring timely completion of high-priority notifications.


• Act as a liaison between CIRT/Inspections/Frontline, making necessary changes on tags and documenting all modifications within SAP.


• Conduct random quality checks and reviews on closed M&C notifications and orders in SAP.


• Proactively manage regional compliance and escalate exceptions as needed.


• Facilitate responses to all data requests as assigned.


• Participate actively in the Substation/Transmission Operations Emergency Center (STOEC), ensuring compliance documentation and other requirements are met.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• At least 7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing maintenance and preventative work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of utility operations and work execution processes.
  • Proficiency in using SAP for data management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP certification and/or an MBA with a focus on quantitative, analytical disciplines, compliance, and/or quality.
  • Prior experience in managing programmatic work.
  • Experience in developing partnerships with external stakeholders for effective work execution.
