About the Role

We are currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Healthcare Assistant to join our team at The Sheridan at Green Oaks. This role involves providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  2. Participate in and lead one-on-one and group activities designed to promote socialization and engagement.
  3. Ensure residents receive timely responses to concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  4. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards all residents, visitors, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with seniors with dementia is preferred.
  • Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and communicate effectively.
  • CNA or CHHA license may be required, depending on the state.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
