About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in quality assurance and manufacturing process control. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Has knowledge of quality management systems and procedures, including ISO 9001.

Responsibilities and Duties

Inspecting Products

You will conduct regular inspections of products during various stages of production to identify any defects or nonconformities. This includes visual inspections, measurements, and testing to ensure products meet specifications.

Implementing Corrective Actions

If defects or nonconformities are identified, you will implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. This may involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Maintaining Quality Records

You will maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions. This includes documenting findings, results, and any follow-up actions taken.

Continuous Improvement

You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancement and suggesting improvements to existing procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in quality control or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Work Environment

  • This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular use of a computer is required, with occasional travel to different locations.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
