Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient care needs, synthesizing data from complex situations to determine the most effective course of action.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans, making use of available multidisciplinary resources.
- Participate in activities that promote intra/interdepartmental collaboration and serve as a role model for nursing involvement.
- Contribute to standards of care and unit goals, demonstrating expertise in care of patients with complex problems.
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
- One (1) year of nursing experience.
