Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven and organized Business Development Associate to support our Development & Sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about taking ownership and growing their expertise in real estate sales and development.
The Business Development Associate will play a crucial role on a high-volume team and should be enthusiastic about coordinating the variety of tasks required to transform a customer or partner's idea for a new development into a completed high-performance building.
We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in real estate project management or sales. The position is full-time, salaried, exempt. It is hybrid with the expectation of being in the office or field three days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Project Support: Support team members in navigating projects from initial intake through contract execution. Tasks may include developing proposals, cost estimates and budgets, creating presentations, and representing Reframe Systems in meetings and public forums.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up. Provide regular reports and analysis to management.
- Relationship Building: Support Development & Sales team members in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects.
- Business Development Operations: Manage business development toolkit (including promotional materials, contract documents and contact management software) and develop new tools, including presentations and contract documents.
- Promotional Activities: Assist in producing trade show booths, conference presentations and other public relations event opportunities. Attend events on behalf of Reframe Systems.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development or project management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a diverse pipeline within a dynamic startup environment.
- A natural relationship builder and networker.
- Proficiency in Google Drive and CRM software.
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, marketing, construction or a related field.
- Understanding of real estate development finance and/or construction pricing.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth in the real estate industry.
- Ability to commute to our headquarters.
