Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the execution of high-quality retail flyers, ensuring promotional home improvement products are accurate and effective in driving customer engagement and sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparing flyer page layouts, including layout, product and logo placement, product descriptions, pricing, and final file setup for print
• Preparing pages for multiple proofing and review meetings
• Production coordination with Merchandising Marketing Specialists and Merchants to gather all necessary content and information for the flyer creation and or changes
• Quality Control, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all flyers by proofreading and checking for errors in text, pricing, and images
• Maintaining progress of multiple sales through various stages in the proofing schedule
• Reviewing all layouts for accuracy
• Ensuring all deadlines are met with updated layouts
• Assisting the team with Specialty Sale layouts

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Communication, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience in the required field is acceptable as well.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding brand and retail strategies
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with PC and MAC computers strongly desired
• Copywriting experience and familiarity with home improvement products helpful
• Must have basic computer skills and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines is essential
• Must be detail-oriented
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop preferred, but not required
• Must be available to work 40 hours/week, plus overtime as needed
• Must be willing to relocate to Eau Claire, WI
