Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join our team on a contract basis. This is a 13-week temporary position with a competitive package.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures. They will work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers and be responsible for maintaining a positive and professional environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers
  • Maintain a positive and professional environment
Requirements:
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program
  • Requires national certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire
  • BLS certification required
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Effective communication and human relations skills
  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems
Work Experience:
