Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide care to individuals in a mental health clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be able to perform complex nursing work under the direction of a DON and within federal, state, and local guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Provide care to clients using effective assessment skills while maintaining ethical standards of nursing and client confidentiality.
Deliver care to individuals utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Effectively interact with individuals and other healthcare team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Requirements:
Current LVN license in good standing with the state of Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
Valid Texas driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance, and an acceptable driving record as defined by the Center's insurance carrier requirements.
Ability to perform the techniques of Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Ability to be mobile within the community to provide direct nursing services if needed.
