About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Alltex Staffing Personnel. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory levels, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ERP-SAP-inventory systems operations, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily transfer of materials, guaranteeing timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Resolve any discrepancies found, applying problem-solving skills to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, verifying system accuracy.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory, identifying and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory for accuracy of product: fitting, pipe, and tubes, applying analytical skills to optimize inventory management.
  • Routinely monitor stock levels and correct any inventory discrepancies, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • May also complete job closures/inputs into the inventory management system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Serve as backup to the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, providing support during peak periods.
  • Transfer of materials for production use, ensuring timely availability of materials.
  • Notifies manager or delegate of any observed deviations in a timely manner, promoting proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production, optimizing supply chain efficiency.
  • Generate and process invoices and purchase orders, managing financial transactions efficiently.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, maintaining positive supplier relationships.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Intermediate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in SAP preferred.
  • Effective communication orally and written in a professional manner, highly organized, and able to multi-task, with ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with ability to work within a team.
  • Forklift operation (preferred) and understanding of inventory control principles and best practices (preferred).
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
  • Work Environment: Manufacturing = Fabrication Pipe Yard & office.

Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
