Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services is seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team. As a key member of our dietary services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and residents.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of patient, family, and employee meals
• Deliver and take orders as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Monitor temperature of hot and cold foods
• Supervise and assist in storage of supplies and food products
Requirements
• Minimum one (1) year food service experience in a healthcare setting
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions and diet orders
• Ability to work flexible hours, including during emergency situations
• High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
Working Conditions
The Cook will stand and walk intermittently throughout the working day, as well as reach, stoop, bend, lift, carry, and manipulate various food products, dietary supplies, and equipment. The Cook must have the ability to work with chemicals/cleaning agents and must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds.
Benefits
Hourly Wage: $17.00-$20.00
