Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the meat department team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising plans to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor product quality, and ensure accurate billing and receiving procedures.
  • Control department expenses, improve operations, and reduce losses due to damages, spoiled product, and shrink.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food and personal safety codes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and store management to achieve cross-merchandising plans and meet financial objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business or food service-related field desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, or supermarket environment; meat management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
