Cardiac Critical Care Anesthesiology Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate or Full Professor to join our team in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have expertise in cardiac critical care anesthesia and a strong track record of clinical and teaching excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating rooms and intensive care units of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the art and science of anesthesiology and critical care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of innovative critical care programs, including tele-critical care and mobile ECMO.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department through research, publication, and service.
- MD or MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a fellowship in critical care medicine and a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia (preferred).
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system.
- Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license.
