Household Associate - GNA Union Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Household Associate to join our team at Levindale Hospital. As a key member of our long-term care unit, you will provide safe and supportive care to our patients, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care and support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help patients with daily activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning patient rooms and common areas
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Less than one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification
  • GNA licensure
