Job Overview

Gateway Rehab Center is seeking skilled RNs or LPNs to work on a PRN basis in the Pittsburgh area. As a PRN nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and carry out therapeutic treatments in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and carry out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
  • Document nursing observations and patient care rendered.
  • Participate in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
  • Intervene in crises and other emergency situations, providing admission phone triage.
  • Coordinate with all GRC departments as appropriate.
  • Provide patient health education and complete employee health duties.
  • Intervene in crises for all GRC departments during off-hours.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Requirements
  • Two years' experience in the nursing field.
Additional Requirements
  • PA Criminal Background Check.
  • Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Clearances.
  • Pass Drug Screen.
  • TB.
Work Environment
  • Office Environment.
  • Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers.
