Job Description:

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to fill a travel position in Columbus, Ohio. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment
  • Assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Position patients and coils on the MRI table
  • Inject contrast media as required
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
