Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and Maintain Kitchen Equipment

Our Certified Dietary Manager will be responsible for evaluating the condition of our kitchen equipment and making recommendations for replacement or repair as needed.

Develop Health and Safety Policies

The successful candidate will develop and implement health and safety policies for the facility, ensuring that our residents and staff are protected from harm.

Create Food Safety Procedures

Our Certified Dietary Manager will create procedures for preparing and storing food safely, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality nutrition.

Supervise Kitchen Staff

The successful candidate will supervise kitchen staff as they prepare food for our residents, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standard.

Conduct Employee Evaluations

Requirements

  • Serve-Safe Certification

The successful candidate will hold a current Serve-Safe certification, demonstrating their knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.

Food Handler Permit

Our Certified Dietary Manager will hold a current food handler permit, ensuring that they are aware of the regulations and guidelines for food handling and preparation.

Certificate in Dietary Management (CDM)

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate in Dietary Management (CDM), demonstrating their knowledge and skills in dietary management.

Certified Dietary Professional (CFPP)

Our Certified Dietary Manager will hold a Certified Dietary Professional (CFPP) certification, demonstrating their expertise in dietary management and food safety.

Experience with MDS Assessments

The successful candidate will have experience with the dietary portion of MDS assessments on residents, ensuring that they are aware of the needs and requirements of our residents.
