Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Alliance Animal Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Restraint and Handling: Safely restrain and handle animals for medical procedures, ensuring the well-being and safety of both the animal and our staff.
  • Triage and Patient Care: Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing essential care and support to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Support: Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, collect and analyze laboratory samples, and provide accurate results to our veterinarians.
  • Medication Administration and Anesthesia Support: Safely administer medications and provide anesthesia support during medical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients.
  • Effective Communication: Provide clear and concise communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and involved in their pet's care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification or equivalent, with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and technology.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in a veterinary setting, with a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care and support.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesia support.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, with the capacity to lift and move animals and equipment as needed.
