Job Title: Welder

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at our Philadelphia, PA facility.

Job Summary:

The Welder position is a hands-on role that requires precision and skill in executing various welding tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in interpreting blueprints and applying accurate welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study and interpret blueprints or drawings for construction or repair projects.
  • Perform basic welding tasks using MIG and TIG techniques.
  • Adjust welding equipment to suit different materials.
  • Use various tools such as clamps, jigs, flame cutters, plasma cutters, and drills.
  • Grind and polish steel to achieve the desired finish.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-3 months of related experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Prior experience with various welding techniques and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Welding qualification and/or certification.
  • Experience in construction and a mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
Competencies:
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail in design and execution.
  • Dependability in following instructions and meeting commitments.
  • Awareness and adherence to safety and security procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regular requirement to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers.
  • Ability to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to talk, hear, and have good vision (close, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to a certain weight.
