LNK International, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join their quickly growing team in Hauppauge, NY. As a key member of the procurement department, you will be responsible for supporting general administrative and purchasing-related tasks, handling multiple complex projects, and positively interacting with internal customers and outside vendors. Your duties will include creating purchase orders for processing to Accounts Payable, tracking purchase orders for projects, and maintaining files. You will also be assigned special projects as needed. To be successful in this role, you will need an Associate's Degree or equivalent related working experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional office environment, and effective verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
