Gas SCADA Systems Engineer
Eversource Energy is in search of a skilled Gas SCADA Systems Engineer to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will take charge of overseeing, upgrading, and sustaining SCADA system software along with field RTU software. Additionally, this role will involve the creation of operational dashboards and system analytics reports. Collaboration with IT Networking and Security teams will be essential to maintain a dependable and secure Gas SCADA network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, upgrade, and sustain SCADA system software and field RTU software
- Create operational dashboards, generate system analytics reports, and manage both historical and real-time data repositories
- Assist in programming and the deployment of new and upgraded field RTUs and communication systems
- Manage remote communication links including leased lines, cellular modems, radio, and fiber optics
- Provide training and foster innovation among users
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in Accol Workbench, Modbus, BSAP, OPC, SQL Server, TCP-IP, Microsoft Access, and Office Suite
- Knowledge of gas distribution system operations and telecommunications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
Compensation and Benefits:
We provide a competitive total rewards program with a salary range of $92,140.00 to $102,380.00, in addition to performance incentives. Salary will be based on experience. For more details on our benefits, please visit our career site.
Working Conditions:
- Availability for emergency assignments is required
- Travel between various locations may be necessary
- Work may occur in an office setting or at field sites, necessitating appropriate safety gear
