Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

Prime Controls is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful start-up and commissioning of systems for new and existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review engineering design documents to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Perform I/O and functional testing.
  • Support technicians by assisting in the troubleshooting of field devices.
  • Troubleshoot PLC code and HMI screens and make fixes as appropriate.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network equipment.
  • Support the startup of the system.
  • Train the customer's employees on their systems.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in industrial automation.
  • Expertise in PLC programming and the commissioning of systems.
  • Willing to travel up to 75%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience in industrial automation.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
