We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

• Meat Department Operations
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, price products, and stock cases to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation of product.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and government weights and measures and labeling laws.
• Customer Service
  • Greet and take orders from customers.
• Meat Cutting and Packaging
  • Cut, tray, and package all required meat and seafood products.
  • Maintain proper safety practices and care while using cutting accessories.
• Inventory Management
  • Participate in pre-inventory preparation, including back stock and assuring tags match products.

• Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED), plus (2) years' experience in a retail environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
