About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team at Papé Machinery, Inc. in Fallon, NV. As a Service Writer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open, maintain, proof, and close service department work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee service and warranty work orders, assist in shop workflow, and check in equipment for repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
