Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

A dynamic and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is sought by ALOIS Healthcare to join our team in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
