Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Forensic Specialist to join our team at Providence Women and Children's Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced sexual, physical, and/or psychological violence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough medical examinations, collect evidence, administer medications, and provide counseling and referrals as needed.
  • Collaborate with forensic nurses and nurse practitioners, law enforcement, and prosecutors to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an acute and/or ambulatory care setting.
  • Board-certified in Family Medicine.
  • Licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing APRN.
  • Oregon DEA certification.

Compensation:
An estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
