Lead Teacher Opportunity at KinderCare Education

Foster a love of learning in young minds as a Lead Teacher at KinderCare Education. Our centers provide a nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive, and we're seeking dedicated professionals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor less experienced teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
  • Implement our research-backed curriculum, adapting it to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Create a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, working together to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
  • Contribute to the success of our centers, partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
  • Approved state trainer (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Ability to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Capacity to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
