Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Local Delivery Driver to join our team at Daikin. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver products to customers and company locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames, utilizing the most efficient routes possible.
  • Maintain required logs and reports to ensure compliance with DOT and company policies.
  • Safely load and secure cargo, ensuring accurate product and quantity.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transfer, load, and unload products.
  • Perform pre-check and post-check operations of company vehicles and forklifts.
  • Assist with warehouse duties and front counter responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • Working knowledge of commercial truck mechanics and current DOT regulations.
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs or lift lighter items repetitively.
Working Conditions

The ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time is required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities is also essential.
