American Place is seeking a highly skilled Main Banker to join our team. As a Main Banker, you will be responsible for operating the main bank within the casino cage. Your duties will include processing and verifying transactions, auditing documentation, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for exchanging gaming chips and tickets, cashing checks, and processing markers and fills. Additionally, you will monitor cash intake in Count room areas, prepare and balance NRT cassettes/machines, and replenish NRT machines with currency and tickets. You will also be able to perform all functions of a cage cashier and audit documentation for fill traffic from all gaming areas. You will work closely with fellow cage personnel to obtain guest credit information and coordinate accordingly. You will maintain bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shifts. You will also process promotion paperwork, Food & Beverage, and other deposits. You will assist with any training or direction as needed and assist guests with inquiries and advise on current promotions. You will also perform other reasonable duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of cage cashiering experience. Bilingual skills are a plus. You must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations. You will have basic math skills with knowledge of currency, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high volume and stressful situations. You will also be able to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin. You will be exposed to smoke, bright lights, and noise at times. You will frequently speak, read, write, stand, walk, bend, and stoop. You will be able to push, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs.
