We are looking for a skilled Satellite Ground Operations Specialist to join our team at Space/Ground System Solutions Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our spacecraft systems. You will work closely with software teams to develop and implement solutions to complex technical problems.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000 - $200,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions to complex technical problems
  • Work closely with software teams to ensure seamless integration of spacecraft systems
  • Analyze logs, trends, and other tools to troubleshoot spacecraft and ground system issues
  • Interface with spacecraft owners, Tier 2 support teams, and other stakeholders
  • Create and maintain status tracking documentation
  • Participate in the testing of new software baselines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or a minimum of 5 years' experience in the command and control of satellites
  • Experience with Linux or similar operating systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with basic scripting or automation
