As a Maintenance and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for:

\u2022 Repairing and coordinating the repairs of buildings and installed systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

\u2022 Cleaning, lubricating, and servicing various pumps, valves, and equipment.

\u2022 Operating, maintaining, and repairing mechanical tools and equipment.

\u2022 Conducting general maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and replacing light bulbs.

\u2022 Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems.

\u2022 Performing light weeding, collecting trash, and snow removal.

\u2022 Driving a company vehicle to pick up local equipment.

\u2022 Ensuring the efficient use of materials and maintaining adequate stock of necessary equipment.

\u2022 Keeping company vehicles and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order.

\u2022 Completing invoices and weekly reports as required.

\u2022 Replacing and repairing building finishes, such as ceiling tiles and door hardware.

\u2022 Troubleshooting, evaluating, and making recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\u2022 General building maintenance skills.

\u2022 Ability to shovel snow, drive small tractors, and operate plow trucks.

\u2022 Skilled tradesman with 10 years of experience and training in general maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

\u2022 Proven ability to read and interpret sketches, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.

\u2022 Competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.

\u2022 Ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights and in confined spaces.

\u2022 Industrial facilities maintenance experience (3 years required).
