Job Description:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide comprehensive care to our residents. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Taking and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, breathing rate, and blood pressure.
  • Measuring and recording height, weight, intake, and output to monitor our residents' health status.
  • Caring for the residents' environment to promote a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting tasks to ensure our residents maintain their personal hygiene and dignity.
  • Aiding with eating and hydration needs to prevent malnutrition and dehydration.
  • Observing skin changes during care and reporting any concerns to the licensed nurse to prevent skin breakdown.
  • Meeting residents' mental health and social service needs by engaging in activities and conversations that promote emotional well-being.

Responsibilities Continue:

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be responsible for:

  • Providing assistance with mobility and transfers, ensuring our residents move safely and comfortably.
  • Assisting with daily routines, such as waking up, dressing, and preparing for meals.
  • Supporting residents with medication management, ensuring they receive their medications as prescribed.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans and address any concerns.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • CNA certification within 120 days of hire or active CNA license.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
