About the Role

Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled A&P Base Mechanic - Rotor Wing to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our AS350 and EC130 series aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances.
  • Support the daily maintenance of our aircraft at our base location.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to maintain our helicopters to the highest standards possible.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and EMS aviation practices and requirements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure aircraft are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
  • Valid and current FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.
  • Minimum 36 months of helicopter experience, with 6 months in the last 24 months.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and EMS aviation practices and requirements.
  • Aircraft systems knowledge and experience with AS350 and EC130 series aircraft.
  • Avionics troubleshooting knowledge and basic electrical repair experience.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
